concerts July 2010

 

Although 2010 is still far away, are we trying to finalize our concert program as soon as possible. We have set up the following program, but it has not been finalized yet.

Friday, July 9, 2010 (Compass point church, Burlington)
The opening concert, with het Groot Nederlands Jongerenkoor, the Canada OneDay Male Choir, along with The Martin Mans Formation.

Saterday, July 10, 2010, Centennial Hall, London
The Rehoboth Children Choir (200 children), the Canada OneDay Male choir (200 men), Musica Sacra Chorus and Het Groot Nederlands Jongerenkoor (youth choir with 200 members) will sing together at this concert.

July 12, 2010, Ancaster, Redeemer College
Male Choir Concert, combined with day program. Details will follow later.

July 13, 2010, Guelph, Youth Choir Concert
Het Groot Nederlands Jongerenkoor together with solists will sing tonight in the beautifull Saint George Anglican Church.


July 14, 2010, St. Cathrines,  40 years Andre Knevel
The hossanna Choir and the Martin Mans Formation will sing tonight. Martin Mans and ofcourse Andre Knevel will play the organ

July 15, Hamilton Place, Hamilton
This Dutch roots concert will have the Dutch choirs singing their most beautiful songs. The Rehoboth Children Choir will sing for the second and last time. A very special medley of the sound of music will be performed by all involved choirs and also many Dutch songs will be bringing you back to your "roots". If you feel a little Dutch, then this concert is a "must see"!

July 16, Roy Thomson Hall, Toronto
At this international concert, the musicians will play and sing classical, Christian and more popular songs. Mostly English, but also German and Dutch songs will be performed. Three choirs will sing at this concert: a Dutch youth choir of 200 people (Het Groot Nederlands Jongerenkoor), a Canadian Male choir of 150 people (Canada OneDay Male Choir) and 16 professional male singers (The Martin Mans Formation).

There will be two grand pianos with up to six piano players. Martin Mans will be playing the special Roy Thomson Hall organ and Arjan and Edith Post Trompet

Three ministers from three different churches will meditate on a uniting subject and the Dutch choirs will sing for the last time.
